Payment terms

Last updated

Naasre serves businesses internationally. This is the agreement for taking customer payments through your Naasre-connected website. It explains who collects the payment, how the 2% Naasre fee works, what happens to booking deposits and remaining balances, and what your business must disclose to customers.

1. What this payment agreement covers

Naasre serves businesses internationally. These terms govern online customer payments arranged through Naasre for your business website, including product orders, booking deposits and payments of outstanding booking balances. They form part of your agreement with Naasre alongside the platform terms. The person applying must be authorised to act for the business and provide its information.

Your business is the seller of its products and services. You set the service, price, availability and customer promises; you remain responsible for delivery and customer complaints. Naasre provides the agreed website and payment tools. Payment setup does not make Naasre the supplier of your services or the holder of a banking account for your business.

An application or a simulated checkout is not approval to collect live payments. Live processing requires completed business checks and activation of an available regional payment arrangement. Use Business settings → Online payments to submit and follow your application.

A regional payment schedule supplements these terms. It must identify the available payment arrangement and the charges and conditions applicable to your business before activation. A specific disclosed schedule governs that arrangement; it does not remove rights that applicable law gives you.

2. How the 2% processing fee is calculated

Naasre charges 2% of the amount of each successfully processed online customer payment, plus payment gateway fees. The Naasre fee is separate from gateway charges. The amount actually paid is the fee base, rather than an unpaid invoice total or the original price before a discount.

For a successful payment of US$1,000, the Naasre fee is US$20. The same percentage applies in the supported transaction currency: for example, €1,000 gives a €20 Naasre fee, and R1,000 gives a R20 fee. If your regional arrangement deducts both fees before settlement, the amount attributable to that payment is 1,000 minus the Naasre fee of 20 minus the applicable gateway fees and any other separately disclosed charges. These examples do not supply a gateway rate or include taxes that have not been disclosed.

For a US$1,000 booking paid as a US$500 deposit, the Naasre fee on that deposit is US$10. If the remaining US$500 is subsequently paid online, that separate payment carries a US$10 Naasre fee plus its own gateway charges. A percentage or fixed gateway charge may therefore apply to each instalment. The unpaid US$500 does not become a processed payment merely because a balance invoice was created.

For a service discounted from US$1,000 to US$800, the Naasre fee on a successful US$800 payment is US$16. Recording cash already received updates the booking balance; that record alone is not an online gateway transaction.

The regional schedule must state gateway percentage and fixed charges, any taxes, international-card or currency-conversion charges, the collection or deduction method, and the treatment of fees on refunds and disputes. A failed or cancelled attempt must not be represented as a successfully processed customer payment. Any separately applicable attempt, reversal or dispute charge must be disclosed in the schedule.

Subscription and website project charges are separate from customer transaction fees. Review the plan inclusions and your accepted proposal for those costs; use the refund policy for money paid to Naasre for subscriptions and project work.

3. Regional gateways, currencies and activation

Naasre may arrange processing through different gateways or payment partners according to your business country and the currencies and payment methods supported there. Availability in one country does not establish availability in another. No single named gateway is promised by these terms.

Before activation, Naasre must identify the payment partner arrangement, supported transaction and settlement currencies, applicable fees, payout conditions, verification requirements and restricted activities. An additional partner agreement or consent must be shown where required; accepting these terms does not accept an agreement that has not been disclosed to you.

Your dashboard display currency is a viewing preference. A converted dashboard amount is an estimate; selecting dollars or rand does not change the currency of an existing booking, invoice, checkout or settlement, and does not guarantee a bank conversion rate.

A later change of business country, bank details or payment arrangement may require further checks before it can take effect. If a required method or region is unavailable, contact Naasre about the available arrangements before promising it to customers.

4. Business information and verification documents

The payment application asks for the business's legal name, country, business type, registration number where applicable, contact person and contact details, bank name, account holder, account number and supporting documents. The document checklist depends on the selected country and business type. Provide readable, genuine documents and the issue dates requested by that checklist.

The account must be one your business is entitled to use for settlement. Inaccurate identity, ownership, registration or banking information can prevent approval or interrupt processing. Keep the information current and notify Naasre of changes that affect verification or settlement.

By submitting, you authorise Naasre to review the application and share information necessary for verification and payment operation with the partners used for your regional arrangement. Read the privacy policy before uploading documents. Submit documents through the application rather than sending full account numbers, identity documents or card details in an ordinary support message.

Submission starts a review; it does not guarantee acceptance or a completion date. Naasre or the regional partner may ask for further evidence. Payment processing must remain inactive until the required checks and activation are complete.

5. Bookings, remaining balances and payment confirmation

You control your booking prices, promotions, deposit percentage, whether clients may pay in full, availability and checkout message. Before accepting a booking, your website must make the amount due now, the remaining balance, the payment currency and your cancellation or rescheduling conditions clear to the client.

A deposit reduces the outstanding booking amount only when the payment is confirmed. An invoice or payment link is a request for payment, not evidence that payment was received. A browser return from checkout, an email or a screenshot supplied by a customer is not a substitute for the verified transaction status.

Use booking balance records to request the remaining amount or record cash that you have actually received. Do not mark a pending online payment as cash to bypass confirmation, or send a second collection request for an amount already paid. Check the remaining balance before creating a new invoice or directing the client to another payment link.

A successful payment and a bank payout are separate events. Settlement depends on the disclosed regional payout schedule and may be affected by bank processing, verification, reversals, disputes or holds allowed under that arrangement. A payment status does not promise an immediate bank deposit.

Reconcile the booking or order, transaction reference, charged amount, fees and settlement record. If a record does not match, raise it through dashboard support or contact Naasre with the reference and discrepancy. Do not send a customer's full card number or security code.

6. Customer cancellations, refunds and disputes

Your business must publish and apply its own lawful customer refund, cancellation, rescheduling and missed-appointment policy. Explain whether a booking requires a deposit and when a refund may be due before checkout. The Naasre refund policy concerns charges for Naasre services; it is not a replacement for your policy for customers buying from you.

Cancelling a booking, deleting an appointment or recording a balance adjustment does not by itself send money back through the gateway. Check the original transaction and the amount already refunded before requesting a full or partial refund. A cash refund and a gateway refund must not both be recorded against the same amount.

The regional schedule must explain whether and how Naasre and gateway fees are returned on a full or partial refund, any refund or chargeback charge, the refund method and expected processing times. Do not promise a refund date or fee return that the accepted regional arrangement does not support. Applicable consumer rights still apply.

If a customer disputes a payment, retain the order or booking details, the price and policy shown at checkout, payment confirmation, relevant communications and evidence of delivery or attendance. Respond within the deadline communicated for the dispute. Refunds, reversals and chargeback amounts may reduce settlement or create an amount due, only as allowed by your disclosed arrangement and applicable law.

7. Security, customer communication and restrictions

Keep authorised workspace access under review and report suspected unauthorised transactions promptly. Never ask a customer to email a card security code, password or one-time payment code. Payment links must relate to a genuine order or booking, show the correct merchant and amount, and be sent to the intended customer.

Customer contact details, addresses and booking messages must be used for the purpose for which they were collected and under an appropriate lawful basis. A booking confirmation or payment reminder does not by itself authorise unrelated marketing. See the privacy policy for information requests and privacy choices. The consumer, privacy and marketing requirements applicable to your customers may differ from those in your business's country.

Use the service only for genuine, lawful transactions and activities permitted by the regional payment arrangement. Do not split or misdescribe transactions to evade limits, submit fabricated sales or collect on behalf of an unapproved third party.

Naasre or a regional partner may need to restrict processing for incomplete verification, suspected fraud, account compromise, disputed settlement details or another reason permitted by applicable law and the accepted arrangement. Where permitted, Naasre will explain the reason and information needed to resolve it. A restriction does not automatically cancel an existing customer order or extinguish an amount legitimately due.

8. Stopping processing and handling outstanding transactions

Request that online processing be stopped through dashboard support or email [email protected]. Include the business and the payment service concerned. Existing refunds, disputes and unsettled transactions still need to be resolved under your regional arrangement.

Before removing a payment method from your website, review unpaid booking balances, open invoices and links already sent to customers. Tell affected clients how they may pay or obtain support. Removing a link does not cancel an invoice, refund a payment or close an existing dispute.

Stopping merchant processing, cancelling your Naasre subscription and deleting your account are different actions. Use subscription management for future renewal and review the account closure terms before requesting deletion.

9. Acceptance, revisions and statutory rights

The payment setup form asks you to accept these terms, acknowledge the 2% Naasre processing fee plus gateway fees and authorise the required application review. The accepted terms version is recorded with your application. Accepting the terms does not activate the service or authorise an undisclosed charge.

Material changes to payment fees or conditions must be communicated before they apply. Where a new arrangement requires further consent or checks, they must be completed before activation of that arrangement. Changes do not retrospectively alter a fee already agreed for a completed transaction.

Naasre provides services internationally. Any governing-law and dispute-resolution provisions must be identified in your applicable service or regional payment agreement; these general payment terms do not assign all customers to one country's law or courts. Mandatory consumer, privacy and payment protections applicable to you remain in force. Your business country, your customers' locations and the regional payment arrangement may each affect the requirements that apply. Read the platform terms together with your specific agreement.

For a payment complaint, identify the business, relevant order or booking, transaction reference, date, amount and the issue you want resolved. Start with Naasre support; this does not prevent you from using any regulator, dispute procedure or court available under applicable law.
